What is Normal?

I am 13 weeks today, and because this is my first pregnancy, I have NO idea what is normal and what is not.

For example, I still feel crampy in my tummy.  Nothing severe at all, but definitely present.  Also, I have occassional pain in my bum.  Again, not serious at all, but noticable when it comes.

I just want to know that the cramps I occassionally feel are just part of pregnancy.  I have all the books, what to expect, pregnancy week by week, but they don't really hit on these topics.  I wish there was a book that did!  I just want reassurance that cramping, even at the beginning of the second trimester are normal growing pains.

Can anyone give me advice?

I am in my first pregnancy.  I did experience some cramping in my lower stomach area.  It didn't hurt, but was noticable.  I was told this is normal, because your muscles are stretching.  It went away and I haven't experienced it since.  I felt it around week 15.

I think that is pretty common. I would check with your Doctor to be sure & for piece of mind, but I think all pregnancies are sooo incredibly different, it's hard to judge. I am sure this is probably just normal for you! I am sooooo happy and excited for you! =)

I was really crampy with my first pregnancy but not so much this time (because everything was already "broken in" from the first time, I'm guessing).  I don't remember the cramping lasting much past week 9, but that doesn't mean that what you're experiencing isn't normal.

I have had a lot of pain in my rear end this time, now that I'm so far along (which I didn't have last time).  Are you constipated?  Because that's what I've figured out is causing mine....
