Hey there StinaKaye,
Well, the first time my husband and I found out we were expecting was about 4 months after we got married or so.. Just 4 short months or so. It didn't take long at all to get pregnant, and it felt effortless. Then we miscarried & ever since then -my body has not felt the same. I know pregnancy can change your entire hormonal make up (which MAY be the reason I feel so strange all the time)...but I can't tell for sure. SO, I'll just take a pregnancy test if I miss my period. I'm not stressed about any of this (I know it may look like it ;) But no, I'm actually very excited. My Husband and I are desperately wanting a child. (ESPECIALLY after the miscarriage). Stress and high blood pressure (I think)...is what had a lot to do with why we lost our first little life...that and poor diet. When we first got married we were 18 so, was younger and didn't know much about pregnancy...and the, whole baby scene. I feel we both (after having gone through the m/c) ...are better equipped and educated on the necessary things we need to know about pregnancy to make it through it successfully. I'll be 20 next month (Feb. 16th) -SO I am HOPING and PRAYING that the Lord has blessed us with a child because...what better birthday present than a child right?! :) Well, thanks y'all for your advice. I do feel a sense of "ahhhh".
PS: I had asked my grandma what she thought (she is an LPN) the first thing she said was, "...I don't know? Flu maybe? [Or could just be that I want you to be pregnant] ;) (she really wants to be a great grandma!) But she said flu -first. THEN I asked my mother in law what she thought of my symptoms (My mother in law has been pregnant 12 times...but miscarried some...and that left her with 6 children.) ...she said it's sound like the flu as well. I asked my Aunt who has some children and she said no that doesn't sound like pregnancy it sounds like something really serious that I should go get checked out for..*something I forgot to add up there was that, I have been having the hardest time getting to sleep lately...and I have had several unexpected bloody noses...(but, I think the bloody noses are due to the dry heat in my house so, I'll rule that one out) ...as well as, I have been having VERY vivid dreams. I know lot's of these things are signs of pregnancy...but...(if I a pregnant) ... this 'pregnancy' doesn't feel the same as it did last time). Yes, I got sick last time with a cold...but...not as bad of a cold as I have now mixed in with what feels like flu-like symptoms. Is every pregnancy a little different? Or drastically different?
I would ignore any symptons b4 ur missed period.. When trying to get prego.,, u don't want to get ur hopes up on symptons that usually don't happen right away for most women.. So I would just wait til u miss a period and don't stress about it.. Bc if ur stressed ur body is stressed and will not want to reproduce.. Once u quit worrying about getting prego it will happen. Sorry for ur miscarriage. Isn't there a waiting time after u miscarry to wait to conceive so ur body is strong enough to carry a baby?? I'd make sure ur out of that waiting period as well! Good luck!
Okay, I will take a pregnancy test if I miss my period....I just don't know if it could be that because my husband and I miscarried over a year ago...and ever since Father's Day 2010, we have been trying for a baby & it was negative every time. Are you sure it could be that? I have had several people tell me that it just sounds like the flu. That's why I am confused. Am I expecting, and have the flu? Or, one of the two?
I agree that the only way you'll know is to test.
