33 weeks and i think im in labor

Ive been having what I thought was braxton Hicks. But then I realized they have been constant. They don't hurt but they hurt in my back. And now I've been timing them I've timed about 7 and they've been about 2 mins apart!? Should I be worried.?,

Yes go in to l&d don't wait! I had my son at 33w5d because I sat at home waiting for the pain to ease. Of course it was after I was told the day before I was not in labor but still go in!!!

i agree u need to go in dont wait because if u are in labour they may want to give u steriod injections to mature the babies lungs coz 33weeks is too early. atleast phone the labour ward n speak to a midwife, they will advise u on wot to do, good luck.

You need to go now I waited about 3 hours and they told me I was lucky I came in when I did because my cervix was irritated luckily because I went in when I did my cervix was still closed but I had to have 2 shots to stop my contractions because the fluid IV was not working.

You don't want to wait. They should try to stop it. You do not want to go into full blown labor at 33 weeks. You really should go in

If they're consistently 2 minutes apart (how long have they been 2 mins apart?) you need to be seen, you shouldn't be getting more then 6 BH in an hour, most doctors will tell you to come in when you're at every 5 minutes (in real labor) because you're getting close to delivery, so I'd go now.

I was like that I was having period cramps but mostly pain in my back...not bad pain but it was constant and wouldn't go away with tylenol.

You definitely should call your doctor. Or head to LandD just to get checked. If you get up and do something like take a bath do they go away? Also are they getting painful?

GO TO THE HOSPITAL!! I've posted where just two weeks ago I was in pre term labor they can try to stop them! I was having contractions 2 to 3 mins apart! Even with braxton Hicks they should not be more than 4-6 an hour! Please go that is to early to have your baby!!
