staining at 4 weeks, pregnant

I have a copper IUD and have had it for 19 months. Since getting it my periods have been very intense and heavy. The last 2 months they have become irregular, usually the first day or two is heavy and then almost nothing, barely 1 light tampons worth for another day or two.
This month I am experiencing pregnancy symptoms, way out of proportion for PMS symptoms, I'm even crying over commercials!
Today I have had some light dark brown spotting , but when I wiped it was darker red in small amounts, I then put another light tampon, assuming my period has started. Just now I checked again and there is nothing but one or two teenie brown spots on the tampon tip. Again when I wiped though there again was some red blood, pinkish. I'm too early for an accurate pregnancy test.
What do you think? Pregnant?

Hi,  I would call your Dr.  light periods are not normal for that type of IUD. I had a copper IUD  and my periods were alway's extremly heavy and uncomfortable.
