Fetal movement?

I'm 8 weeks pregnant today and I had a feeling of like, popcorn popping in my lower stomach, I know that's how fetal movement is supposed to feel in early pregnancy, but can I experience that at 8 weeks or am I just going crazy?

There is no way you can feel fetal movement at 6 weeks, the baby is  so minutte and weighs pratically nothing, LOL Even at 8 weeks it is too small, mine measures at 13mm on 8 weeks, that is like less than 1/2 inch long. As exciting as it is, if this is your 1st baby you probly wont "feel" it until you are well over 16 weeks. But don't worry soon enough you will be begging PLEASE quit moving so much! I'm trying to sleep! LOL

I have heard from the doctors that people have recording feeling "movements" as early as 6 weeks. From personal experience, I cannot say I have "felt" anything, the closest I get it spasms in my stomach or on my sides, which is weird but I assume its from growing or something, I don't know. Anyways, sometimes i feel little flutters but I have NO idea what that is. A co worker of mine said she felt "vibrations" at about 10-12 weeks. Which is supposed to be the liquid aruond the baby moving from when the baby moves. Makes sense to me, but I am NO expert. lol. Anyways, not sure if this helps at all but soon enough i hope we all have real movements and kicks and pokes :)  Take care everyone!

With my son I felt the first movement at 13 weeks. It felt like butterflies going nuts in there. At 8 weeks the legs and arms are barely even developed enough to move around. Plus the whole baby is only the size of a kidney bean, so chances are you havent felt it yet. It's probably gas bubbles.

Most women don't feel their baby until weeks 16-20...I am 19 weeks and I haven't felt the baby.  It was probably gas or something...

I don't remember how early it was when I first felt my daughters movement , but I think 8 weeks is a bit too early. It really is just about the size of a peanut at that point. My sensations was more like fluttering, and then felt the bumping which was like someone poking you gently.
