glad ur feeling better and i agree if your head was hurting that bad then that could have been why your blood pressure was high or vice versa. sorry about your hospital experience but glad ur better. you could have had an anxiety attach i got pains like that and short of breath all anxiety. try taking a benedryl idk why but it helps calm you down A LITTLE if its not too bad but mine occured frequently and had to get meds for it but have quit taking them since pregnant and i occasionally get the anxiety attacks but i am able to control them and the chest pain a lil more now.
thanks yall, I'm feeling 100x better this morning :)
I have chest pain sometimes but it comes and goes I kinda think it has to do with me having heartburn.
They should be worried about the high bp. High blood pressure can cause low amniotic fluids. Some drs are just so dumb
If your migraine was really bad and hurt like no other then ur bp was high because of that. Mine goes up with headaches that are super painful. I've had chest pain too but I chalked that up to being a panic/anxiety attack over my stupid ex. Glad your doing better now. Just relax and drink some water.
Glad u are feeling better!
I'm laying on my left side and I've drunk alot of water and my headache is gone and so is the chest pain, and I don't feel as panicky but I'm still short of breath, but hopefully that will subside soon. I'm feeling better and he's kicking up a storm :)
I would have gone to a different hospital...they are prpbably only looking at the bottom number and since its below 90 are not too concerned. But with chest pain they should have at least ran tests to make sure it wasnt a heart attack. Ur headache is probably due to the blood pressure being high. I had one point where my chest hurt horribly i cried. But mine was just a big gas bubble and i couldnt burp to get it out finally after 20 minutes of severe pain i burped several times and chest pain went away
I think they are goin by the bottom num of blood pressure readin if that wos ova 90 u wud of been kept in
Thanks yall. I'll def try the water thing. And my BP has been slightly elevated since I've been pregnant, but never that high and never accompanied with chest pain and a migraine.
That's really dumb they juss let you go especially when your BP Is so high and they didn't even do anythin' about that! Sorry to hear that your goin' through that. Was It juss today you've experienced this? If It continues, def. go get a second opinion.
Also try drinking a lot of water I mean a lot like drink 5 or 6 cups before you go to bed its gunna make you feel really full and make you pee a lot but when my blood pressure got high that's what l&d told me to do...and when you wake up go get your BP checked at a CVS or something. If its still high go to l&d.
If you have high bp thats not good i would go to a different hospital
I'm 19+3 though, so I don't think he's up that high. But I'm just pissed because my bp got to 197/88, and they didn't do ANYTHING but give me Tylenol for the chest pain. They also told me to try tums, and if that didn't help then "I'd know it's not heartburn". This hospital is supposed to be one of the best in the South, but I'm not happy. And on my discharge papers, it says reason for visit is "abdominal wall pains", wtf? Where did they even get that from?
I was having chest pain the er told me it was moat likely the baby sitting high and she was pushing up. They also told me to take tums 2 in morning 2 in after noon and 2 at night bc chest pain can be heart burn
A day later I felt so much better
