Everyone is different like the ladies above me answered.  In my opinion I got very lucky and had my first at 37 weeks and my second at 36 weeks 2 days. Time will tell what this baby does.  They come when there ready so be prepared! Good luck :)

My first was born at 37wks. Just be prepared and like the others said...dilation doesn't mean much of anything.

most go to the due date and to top that off most dont experience cervix change until labor actually starts..

everyone is different.. but if it helps at all, i was 3 cm and 90% effaced at 37 weeks and my baby was born the day before her due date sooo it doenst always matter
