Flu Shot and Pregnancy?? :/

Hi there I live in Saskatchewan Canada, and it is recommended that you get the flu shot when pregnant, seeings as it is flu season. But I am very hesitant to get the shot just because I have never had the shot in my 21 years, and my mom never got the shot when she was pregnant. So I just really am not sure, so I was hoping there would be some input?

I would get it. Its a dead virus not live virus. That being said there are people that get a flu shot then get the flu but the reason behind that is every year they guess which strain of the flu will be most common so you can get the flu shot and catch a different strain of the flu still

I got it at my last appointment....I had never gotten it before either. Idk what to really say about it....my arm was a little sore for a couple of days lol but I talked to my doctor about it first. She said it would be better for me and baby if I got it so I did. It's up to you.
