mucus plug TMI

I'm 33+5 weeks and this morning when I went to the bathroom I has this stringy almost snot looking discharge there was a good amount probably about the size of a quarter...some of it that I saw was either clear, white or kind of yellowish.  Am I losing my mucus plug?  Or is it left over fluids from when my boyfriend and I had sex?

You probably dislodged some of your mucus plug. Your body forms the plug endlessly until you start dialating a whole lot. I started losing mine with my second around 28 weeks and he was born the day after his due date. Unless it starts looking pink or red it's not much to worry about before 37 weeks. Now I am 17 weeks with my third and have been losing tiny sections of my mucus plug for two weeks now

I think u should call your docz asap... Because. The mucus plug seals off the small opening in Ur cervix... N when u loose it you leave yourself prone to infection...
