Gas and air!!

Ok so I watch alot shows from the UK like one born ever minute and the midwives. I see how they get to have gas and air im like what! How come we don't have that here in the states lol also they eat what they want during labor over here we can't eat At all till after baby is born.

It really is .. I think they care about the money more than the people.

yeah im from new zealand and it is all free here. we are very lucky we dont have to worry about insurance and stuff like that. I wonder why the states is different.

I think it is because of the insurance. Here in New Zealand giving birth is free, for everyone. As is all emergency hospital treatment And c sections only happen if you want one or if there is an medical reason. And yes we can have gas too. Just America that is different I guess

I'm from uk and gas and air is a pants I only liked it to chew on but epidurals are quite common over here cesareans aren't though we only get offered them as a emergency or prior medical condition the hospital I was in preferred assisted delivery (forceps which I had to have!) over cesarean we don't even get checked to dilation till we're in labour I didn't even know what effacement was till this app lol!

Wow 14 days over due? Wooooow that kinda sux. Ummm no I have no idea why but it looks like it helps with labor they should bring it here lol hahaha

There seems to be a lot of difference between country's I'm from the uk and to be induced you generally need to be 14 days over your due date as apposed to what I've read on here from ladies from the states and epidurals aren't as normal in the hosp I'm using it's do strange. Do U know why you don't have gas and air ? It's meant to be great lol
