Boys tend to be easier to see earlier, but often if its too early a boy may be mistaken as a girl if they aren't developed enough. I've also heard girls can be mistaken for boys early on from genital swelling. I think your safest bet is 18-22 weeks but there is still a high percentage of getting it right from 14+ weeks. I found out my twins were girls at 18 weeks,  they were fully cooperating and there was no mistaking those three lines :)

At my NT scan I was 12w2d and the tech guessed boy I had a 4d scan at 17w2d nd it was confirmed its a boy nd at my.20 weeks scan it  also confirmed..
Its depends on tech some try to guess or tell you off record nd dome nit even bother to look at that early stage 12weeks..

Oh also I found out I was having a girl at 21 weeks :)

My daughters heart beat is 143 every time they check it I'm 24 weeks 3 days :)

Most techs wont tell you because of the possibility its wrong. And they want to wait until about 20 weeks or so. Mine only told me off the record because I have seen her with all 4 of my previous pregnancies and both of my miscarriages. I will see her again for this pregnancy and Im definitly going to ask what is the heart rate at when I have my next sono at 9 wks 2 days.

I'm preggo with #4 :) I have 3 girls :) I wasn't sure if I wanted to know witht this one but started researching placenta placement. There are studies that show if your placenta is anterior (on the front of your belly) that its a boy. If its posterior (on the back of your belly) its a girl. My 3 girls were posterier and this one is anterior. This one IS a boy :) so if they can't tell at least ask where your placenta is! I'm sure this isn't 100% all the time but most people I have asked have had the same results. Look it up, its out there :)

I had my ultrasound done at 12...they wouldnt tell me but gave me pictures.  To me looks like a boy.

We tried at 18 weeks but baby wasn't cooperating. I've heard as early as 14 wks for some people... Lucky them! I'm extremely anxious

I got my babys sex determined at 15 weeks and its pretty spot on..i went to a place specifically that determines the gender of babies and they have a good success rate..im having a boy and I dont think u can mix up the genitals lol

Its usually about 16 to 22 weeks. Every dr is different. I had my NT scan done with my last pregnancy at 14 weeks and she said "off the record" it looks like a boy. So when I go in 7 weeks Im going to ask her to check the sex "off the record" again. We have 3 boys and 1 girl so were hoping for another little girl.
