32 weeks plus 5 days 2cm dilated and 50%thinned

So not really a question just freaking out a bit. Went to Dr this am told him I felt like I was having contractions he checked said Im 50%thinned and 2cm dilated. Got my first steroid shot and my second tomarrow he also is having me do a stress test tomarrow nothing with second shot. He said I have a 50% chance of being here in the next 2 weeks. Said I ill not make it to my due date. Said baby will be.fine but I wont be able to bring her home with me :( pray she is ok and doesn't need much if she does come. Anyone went threw this

Thanks Sammy.. ill have to do that.. april- i'm on bed rest at home some people r in hospital just depends on the situation. All they division give u steroid shots and wait for labor and its more comfy to wait for labor at home at least my Dr thinks so...

If you are put on bed rest do you stay in the hospital or at home?

That's how I am, but all we can do is be positive. You've done everything you can do your on bed rest and your getting the steroids. Everything will be okay, just don't stress yourself out!!

Yea been on bed rest since 30 weeks. Its just stressful don't know how anyone handles it I'm afraid of having her then having to see her in the nicu hooked up to a bunch of things :(

Im 34+2 and was at the er yesterday for pelvic and chest pains...turns out lil man was pushing on something to cause the chest pains and they told me im 1cm and 30% thinned and very soft...this is my 3rd and i never dilated w my others until i was being induced...so this is all new to me..

The same thing happened to me, when I was 30 weeks I got the steroid shots and by 32 weeks I was 2cm dilated and 75% effaced. I'm now 35 weeks and I haven't had her yet but my doctor keeps telling me any day. The steroids will really help her. Goodluck! Did they put you on bed rest?

Yer baby will be ok. I was in a car accident at 34+5 and delivered a 4lb11oz baby later that night and he only spent 8 days in the hospital
