scared/nervous/anxious/excited..

I'm 38w 5d, had an appointment yesterday, doctor scheduled me an ultrasound to see the size of the baby. According to the tech, my baby girls pushin 8lbs (give or take) so, hopefully I can do this without needing a c-section. I've mentioned this in previous posts, but my mom's pelvic bones never moved so she had to deliver me as a c-section.. I won't know till it's delivery time for me if I'll be able to give vaginally or if my bones are the same.. :/

I had a tattoo as well, one up my ribs before I had my son, and it's a different kind of pain..definitely. Haha. I had a c-section, I got to 8cms and they lost my sons H/B, so I ended up with an emergency c-section, he was 8lbs 9.5ozs, and I'm 4'11, so I think the laying on back position definitely was NOT good for me because it closes your pelvis off quite a bit..try staying up and walking, not laying on your back. I never got an epidural though, I was much more scared of a needle in my spine than natural child birth, go figure!! Either way it's painful but it's the kind of pain where something good comes out of it, when you hold your little one you'll forget all about it!

wow, haha props to your friend! lol, and thankss, my biggest thing is I'm just afraid of pain.. I have 8 tattoos and I can stand that, but anything else I freak out. I'm getting an epidural regardless, but the thought of the needle makes me freak out a little.

I have a 5' friend that delievered a 10lb baby naturally, your body is made for it, because your mom had a tough delivery doesn't mean you will. U/S's aren't very accurate, especially this late in the pregnancy it's harder to tell. I hope you have an easy delivery, no matter how she comes!! :)
