m/c and a d&c?

So it will be one week since my m/c and d&c. I feel fine. I had no bleeding after my d&c. a little cramping here and there, but thats it. my doc said to wait 3-4 months before trying again. But i dont want to wait that long! Has anyone got in pregnant right away or with in a month? or before your 1st preiod?

You can get pregnant right away after a miscarriage. Like the last poster said the only reason they tell you to wait is for datinf purposes. I had a miscarriage on Feb 14th and got pregnant again on March 25th so six weeks later. I'm now 26 1/2 weeks with a healthy little girl. Best of luck I hope you both get your BFP's soon! :)

I had my d&c 3 weeks ago....my doctor told me and husband that we could start trying as soon as I stopped bleeding (like 3 day after).  She also said that the reason why most doctor suggest to wait is mainly for date but with the advance in technology is doesn't matter unless you and your partner up for it.
