am i leaking amniotic fluid?

Hi im 38.5 weeks pregnant and noticed a difference in my discharge a couple days ago. It used to be thick, yellow and stringy (sorry tmi) and now its a very light yellow/clear and watery and i have to wipe at least 3 times to get it all off and i have to change my underwear every 2-3 hours cause it goes through my panti liner. It doesnt have an odor either. Can this be amniotic fluid or just a change in my discharge?

I ended up going into the er that night and ended up being in labor! I had a handsome healthy baby boy weighing out at 9lbs 1oz! :)

A change in discharge. Amniotic fluid will definitely not have yellow in it. Also you should try using a pad not pantiliner, pantiliners dont do much when mucus changes in the late stages of pregnancy.

They say if you fill a pad up you have to.go into labor and delivery, specially since your 38 weeks
