Only have 1 ovary, now Dr says I have PCOS

About 2 years ago I stopped taking birth control so that I could prepare to get pregnant.  After I stopped, I didn't have a period for 5 months...then I had...then missed, then I had one...THEN I ended up in the hospital with severe abdominal pain...I had Torsion of the Ovary and I was rushed into surgery to get my left ovary removed!
A year later, and ever since the surgery, I have always felt tender on my right side - so the Dr did an ultrasound & said I have PCOS, 17+ cysts on my ONE remaining ovary...
So now I only have one ovary & it's not working!  Since the ultrasound, started taking Metformin & natural progesterone cream & I have been tracking my cycles, trying to get pregnant & doing ovulation tests...all of the tests have been negative for the past 2 months, not one had shown signs of ovulation.

My husband & I are "actively" trying to conceive & this is the question I have:

If I am taking Metformin & using progesterone cream & my husband is ejaculating inside me BUT I am not dropping any eggs...will that increase my chances of having an ectopic pregnancy?

if you aren't ovulating you have no chance of an ectopic,

an ectopic pregnancy is when you conceive a baby and it doesn't make it's way to the uterus therefore implanting its self in you're tube...

the best advice i can give you, stop trying so hard....

i know it is really hard when you want something so badly but me n my hubby tried for 4 yrs until i gave up and 3 months later we were prego!!

i only have one tube and am an iffy ovulator due to a deviated pituitary gland, and have endometriosis......we even tried fertility drugs!! 10,000 dollars later, nothing came out of it, until i gave up....

now we are proud parents of a 2 yr old girl, 2nd girl in 7 generations!!

GOOD LUCK!!!!
