HPT false negative?

Hi everyone!! Im kinda new in here. Apology in advance if my statement is quite long. My period is due this coming thursday, No sign of sore Bb's at all, which i normally experience at least a week till the day of my period is due. Me and DH decided to take HPT today sad to say i didn't use my 1st morning urine, coz i woke up too early around 5:53 am just to pee coz it woke me up. After that I cant go back to sleep, so just laying in bed wonderingggggg.... till my DH woke up & decided to take the HPT, it was Negative ( as I expected!!) but tears me up inside :-( I left the HPT in bathroom and after 5 hours, I did have a glance and there is small thin line that makes it faint or positive. I don't know if that counts after so many hours. I have read before in internet when i always search in Google about this pregnancy HPT & that there's a possibility that Women could be pregnant, but there no enough HCG in the urine. I will be pleased and appreciated any opinion, advise you all may have. Thank U

Thanks for all the lovely and encouraging advises. No AF yet today. Thinking to do something else to forget about this Pregnancy thing in my head. Had cramps in R abdomen where the ovary is & sharp pain in my breast. I felt something coming out down there, but everytime i go to bathroom, nothing. Maybe AF is just late. Im off to gym, will have some slow walking & swimming afterwards, I know i can't have a jacuzzi after workout this time. Sigh!!

Hello everyone, just to share that i test again this morning, and its negative. AF is due tomorrow. Some cramping like ur ovulating, then its gone. BB sharp pain, but that's it. Im not stressed about it, coz i been off work for a week. so I don't know what's going on inside my body. I just hope that if im not preggo, AF will arrive, I will feel much relieved, than No AF & Not Preggo, means bad. thank u for reading & ur advise. Much appreciated

It is still way too early if you still have 7 days till your period is due :(  Even the most sensative tests (first response early response) is like 4 days b4 your missed period. So try to hang in there a couple of days, and test again!

Hi Laura!

I don't want to put my hopes up, but to be honest, I can feel a butterfly in my stomach coz of the excitement, but I am still acting normal till i find out the truth this week. I took clearblue HPT and the line in there is colour blue, i have read in internet that evap lines are colourless or greyish..? Thanks for you help.

It may just be too early still.. I would wait until (if) your period is late and then test again..

What you were seeing w. the hpt after 5 hours was probably evap lines.
