TTC for a year

My husband and I have been ttc for a year now. We are on a strict schedule of sex daily and we make sure that we have sex twice during ovulation. Is there a test that we can take at home to see if either of us are sterile? What are we doing wrong??? Every month as I get closer to the day that I start my period, we get excited that I might not start this time, but I always do. Does anyone have any pointers? I feel as though we will never be blessed with our little bundle of joy... We are loosing hope fast. Please help!

Well, I was going to give you all kinds of good pointers but it looks like tarajanes hit the nail on the head.  I was going to tell you all the same things.  If none of these things work, you may want to consider a simple procedure called laproscopy surgery.  It is a very simple outpatient procedure where they just make a very small incision and look at all your female organs with a small microscope.  It can tell so much about you.  If you check out, may want to have a sperm count done on your husband.  I wish you the best of luck and don't give up yet!!!  God bless and keep us posted!

Hey girl dont loose hope, first point dont have sex every day, this will not help.every other day should be fine, they say have sex 2 or 3 times a week, then when ov drawing nearing have sex bit more often, reason they say dont have sex everyday,as it slows down the sperm count,so by the time you get to ov sperm is very slow, and poorer quality,if your not sure if you are ov try buying your self some ovulation sticks,it will tell you when to start testing depending on your cycle, also you may want to consider charting,it can give you a rough idea of how your cycle goes,as we dont ov on the 14 day each month.check out fertilityfriend.com really good log in all your deatails, temp etc and gives you advice.dr do say if not concieved within the year, then make an appointment, for some tests, good luck.

You need to go see a Dr.  Are you sure you are ovulating, has he had his sperm tested? We tried for a long time and when I finally went to the Dr. she said "What took you so long to come in" put me on clomid and two months later we were pg.  I really suggest you go to the Dr.
