confused

So when I first found out I was pregnant my due date was September 3 then it moved to September 4 and now September 13. After my sonogram yesterday they put me back to 6 weeks. Would this be right? because I'm so confused

Usually the hospital will go by the first date they give you. So you'll b due by September 3 the other days are that your baby could also come around those days.

They gave me 3 due dates with my first. One when I took the pregnancy test at the doctor's office. Then I went somewhere else for my prenatal care and they made it the day after my original date. They said the other person had miscalculated. Then I got a new due date when I had my first ultrasound. All around the same time. I knew the date exactly when I got pregnant so the second one was accurate, but they went with the ultrasound and that's the day I actually went into labor. Usually they go by the ultrasound since they can look at your baby and give a pretty accurate age. Still the doctor kept reminding me that due dates are just estimates and not to get hung up on it. Your full term starting at 38 weeks through 42 weeks and baby could safely and naturally come any time during that 4 week span.

I would go by what the sonogram told you because they actually see the baby and how it's developed and can see the age better. My due date is May 3rd but my sonogram told me she could come anytime from the middle of April to the beginning of May
