what are my chances of getting pregnant while taking the birth control shot depo provera?

my boyfriend and i have sex every weekend. i am and have been taking birth control (depo Provera) for a while but i stopped taking it and started taking it again and now i have the side effect of bleeding all the time and bleeding during sex. does this in any way increase my chances of getting pregnant? and how likely is it that i would become pregnant while taking the birth control shot?

Clysta is right.  I also bled continuously for 6 months after starting the shot.

The depo shot is effective within 24 hours of administration. Bleeding doesn't affect the chances of pregnancy. Yours odds while on the shot are 1% or lower.
