Heard the heartbeat today :) possible no bicornuate utuers...was twins..."Fund.ht" measuring 2 weeks behind? All ultrasound showed right on time.

So im still confused because she said i might not have a bicornuate utuers and what they saw was a pregnancy on the left and i guess the way it was, might of showed that type of utuerus but no other ultrasounds showed one so she said my pregnancy is on my right and the left was probably another baby which is why i bled for 8 day straight at 5 weeks. I dont know, confusing....Anyways few questions...

1.) Can a pregnancy go to your right side if you have no right tube but only a left one?

2.) On a piece of paper i have to bring in every visit for recordings it said under "Fund.ht." the number 12. Does that mean my utuerus is measuring 12 weeks?? Based on all 4 ultrasound i should be 13weeks 5 days. Is it not growing as fast? She checked with the pelvic exam no ultrasound was done.

Thanks :) sorry for all htese questions the docs arent just giving me the answers i need.

The heartbeat was around 150 or so. Which she said is good. I just wish i could have an ultrasound...

Not sure how to answer your first question, but regarding fundal height ...my doctor told me that as long as the measurement is whatever week your in, plus or minus two weeks, that the baby is growing fine.  For instance, when I went in on Monday, I was 28 weeks, but my fundal height measured 29 cm.  So it was within that +/- 2!

Well I know that each ultrasound the measurements could be either further along or behind, but that's because the ultrasounds are truly just an estimate.  Plus, I don't know what the Fund.ht stands for, so that may not even be the measurements.  As far as the bicornuate uterus, I know a little about this situation but only the risks during pregnancy if you are diagnosed with one.  I would talk with your doctor more about your concerns, because the risk of miscarrying is higher with a bicornuate uterus - as well as pre-term labor and abnormalties.  I'm not trying to scare you or say this is your situation, but I would be contact regularly with your doctor regarding this situation - truly only they know what is going on with your body.
