SCARED

Today I am 6 weeks exactly.  Yesterday I went to the ER because I have some slight pain left abdomen.  They did an ultrasound focusing on my left side and saw nothing.  They also checked my uterus and found nothing.  My Beta or Hcg levels are at 1700.  I AM SO SCARED it is going to require surgery, also my periods normally come about every 33-35 days are NOT regular.   Is it possible that they are not seeing anything yet cause I am too early?  Poss ectopic or m/c?  HELP!

Thanks

I had an ectopic this past July. They couldn't see it until 7weeks my beta was 5800, the baby was making my tube bulge any longer it would have erupted. Sorry if I scared you more. But I would get another ultrasound in the next week just to be safe, its probably just too early. Good Luck to you I hope everything is fine.

For all it helps i am so sorry but i was told by the U/S lady they can not see anything on the screen till ur hormone levels are at least 1500 for a baby or 1000 for a sack ... As for an ectopic i heard i am not sure how true this is but i have heard that for most ectopics the HCG levels r normally under 1500 .... my fingers are crossed for you
