Am I pregnant or is this an effect from the pill???

Hi I'm on Loestrin & I have been on them for a while. I missed a few pills in the beginning of this month but continued taking the rest. My boyfriend & I were still active on the days that I missed & took my pills. Now on the week that I was supposed 2 get my period (last week) I only got a little bit of spotting one day then nothing for the other 4 days. I was worried that I was pregnant but when I took a home pregnancy test it showed up negative. I'm so confused especially because i've been feeling really tired & weird & hungry & nauseous. Is this normal or what's going on???

Thanks! It's so weird tho cuz i've missed pills before & nothing's happened with my period I usually get it when i'm supposed 2 anyways...oh well I have a DR appt 2moro so we'll see :)

Missing some pills can cause your period to become funky which is why it probably was a little late. If a pregnancy test is saying negative then most likely you aren't pregnant. However, anytime you have unprotected sex there is the chance of pregnancy. Best thing to do is wait a week and retest since by then it should be completely accurate.
