Heat flash?

I'm 34 weeks tomorrow and I took my son and I to get our hair cut, and I was completely fine all morning, ate, drank, was fine while my son got his hair cut, and then she had me sit down, the first 5 minutes or so I was fine, then all of the sudden my heart started palpitating, and I got really dizzy and started sweating ALL over, pretty bad. I had to have her get me water and sat still for a minute before the dizziness and palpitating would stop. I've never had a hot flash before, does that sound like what that is? I called l&d because my doctor's office isn't open today and she said it might have been just the way the baby was sitting and to just take it easy, if it happens again to call them back. I thought I was going to have to call my husband, I thought for sure if I stood up I was going to pass out. The water seemed to really help, but I know it wasn't dehydration because I have been drinking water all morning. Any input?

It's normal if you had been standing or in one position too long. I've passed out from it and one time vomited in a store bc of it. Lol. My ob says its actually pretty common. When it happens to me, my ears feel like I'm in a tunnel or something an they pop and my tongue feels like rubber. I can't speak during it bc it's like my brain is in a fog or something.
