left!! I'm so excited BUT yet so nervous I feel so unprepared still :( how long does everyone else have?!
Yeah and I've read that bassinets only go up to 15 lbs so that's like what maybe a couple of months to sleep in? That's a total waste! Yeah I heard pack n plays are totally safe for them to sleep in, I also heard that some babies don't like sleeping in it? But I think he will be fine. Plus we will be moving after he's born so I feel it's useless to put up the crib just yet and he will be in our room for the first 5 months so might as well have him in the pack n play.
Yeah exactly my mom thinks I'm being selfish for not apologizing and of course throws in she's an elder.. But if you disrespect me family, elder or not I'm not going or apologize. I'm not going to beg anyone to be in my sons life ya know. I don't even speak to any of my friends and I feel the same when it comes to that, I got w text from my "best friend" about 3 months ago saying I wish you the best of luck I really do, she's so upset me and my bf got back together awhile ago but it's like hello were having a baby obviously we need to put our differences aside and do what's right for our son. But yeah it's pretty amazing to see who's actually there for you when you have a baby lol!

Yeah, I was looking at one at Target, it's small and baby would have to stop sleeping there before he/she could even sit up because of precaution.

Ash! I'm so nervous he will be here sooner! I feel like his head already dropped anddd already have contractions and butt pain daily! Makes me nervous lol
Blanca, yeah my mom said she was going to buy a bassinet but I know she's hurting on money they just lost the car and she has cancer so I really don't want to ask nor even have her get it. My aunt swore she'd do the most when she found out but literally hasn't even tried getting ahold of me we got into a huge argument when I went down there to visit and we haven't spoke since and I refuse to call she says I need to apologize but she literally talks about me to everyone in the family but can't admit it to my face so I refuse to apologize for that. Yeah his cousin is giving us a crib supposedly her son only slept in twice and all we need is to get a mattress so I think I'm just gonna have him either sleep in the pack n play she gave us I mean it'd be useless to get a bassinet if he could sleep in there
Babycarteronboard, yes I need wipes and diapers as well! My bf is thinking about getting a SAMs club membership so we can just buy them there! But I have no idea what brand or what to look for !
Yeah, all my famkly lives here but I don't expect them to get me anything since they're all so judgemental and not really all that close to me, my mom and I have been off and on fighting for a while and she told me she'd get me the crib set, so I guess I'm waiting on that. Oh yeah plus I need to go get her crib mattress. This lady gave us hers from when her twins were babies. I looked it up online and turns out it's now sold at like a bit over 600 dollars. And her twins are like 5 or 6. I was like wow.
i have 41 days left and i still have my car sat pack and play and bouncer and some hand me dowm=ns from my sister but thta it i still gotta go get diapers and wipes bottles and a few other things before she gets here
Blanca, don't worry.. I wasn't going to have one. I live in a completely different state than family n friends. My bfs mom and sister don't speak to me at all. His cousin has been giving us a bunch of handy downs so she's literally the only one who asks about the baby.. So I really don't know who would even show up besides her mom and husband? I doubt his mom and sister will go it'd be so awkward they don't even ask about the baby supposedly his sister does for time to time but never acts like she cares if she sees me... So for the most part my bf has been buying everything and his cousin just gives us stuff
Blanca, you should check out the one I got. It was $199 at Walmart but literally its perfect. My bf thought it was expensive but I feel like with all the stuff it comes with and him able to grow into it it was a smart choice! It's even really light. It's the Urbini Omni 3-1
Oh I'm not having a baby shower so that's why I'm not relying on anyone, but yeah that's great that you're getting one those are usually very nice from all the stuff you get
Oh that's great :) I keep contemplating on getting a stroller since they're so heavy and I'd be okay with just buying one of those baby strap things to carry her around. Less of a hassle I guess.
But I just plan on going out to buy her bigger clothes when she's already on her way to not fitting into the stuff we have for her :)

We just got the car seat/ stroller. It was a 3 in 1 so it turns in to a toddler stroller when he's big enough! And I have a bunch of handy down clothes that are 3-6 or 6-9 months and literally only 3 0-3 month outfits ugh! lol we have the big stuff like pack n play n bather n stuff but I feel like I'm missing all the little stuff! Pacifiers, bottles, bathing stuff, stuff that I feel are the easiest things! My bf said his cousin is throwing me a surprise baby shower so I guess I'm just impatiently waiting for that ahah
