Im glad everything turned out ok! I would have gone in too! better to be safe than sorry, and especially if it will put your mind at ease
I just got back from labour and delivery for EXACTLY this reason. I'm 21w2d and have had steady movement for the last 2weeks. But I haven't felt the baby since monday night so I finally called the Dr today and they said to go to the hospital and get checked out. The heart rate was 155 and they said the baby was moving around lots. He probably has just moved to a spot where I can't feel him as much..though as i sit here now i'm feeling him again. After 28 weeks if you go a few hours without feeling the baby you're supose to get checked out.
Whew..... Thanks ladies.... That makes me feel tons better.... Its been so long since i have been preggo I cant remember what i went through with my daughter (she is 9) so its all new to me again lol
I had days like that too ...I wouldn't feel Jaiden moving, but I'd get a good solid kick once or twice. Then the next day or a day or so later, he'd have about an hour that he's just go nuts.
Like ovaz said, it wasn't until I got closer to 30 weeks that I felt him more consistently. Since then, I feel him *all* the time! lol And the past couple nights he's taken to keeping me awake when I try to go to bed. =D Preparing me for next month, I suppose!!
at 23 weeks he is still small once you reach 25 weeks on you will notice more movement
I am in my 24th week, and I will go almost all day long some days and not really feel anything. But, around 10:30pm or so, I will get a good kick or punch :)
I am under the impression that you really won't feel constant or consistent movement until around 28-30 weeks when the baby has put on weight and there is much less room in the uterus for him/her to move. Hope that helps :)
Yes! Somedays he will be more active than others! It's normal, but if it bothers you tell your doctor. You'd rather be safe than sorry. You will eventually begin to notice a routine in his movements (more active in evenings versus morning etc) as baby adjusts to your schedule.
I have no experince in movement as this is my first and I'm only 17 weeks, but the name is really cute!!!
