Hip/groin pain?

I'm 36 weeks pregnant and I have a constant pain in my groin. It stared as outer hip pain so bad I couldn't put weight on that leg. The other day it switched to the inside and in my groin. To gall asleep I had to have an ice pack between my legs. I was hoping it would go away but it's been 3 days now.

He basically said there is nothing I can do about it. Just a part of pregnancy I have to deal with. I have 4 weeks to go and I'm trying to stay active so it *****. I walked a mile today and it's not too bad. Hoping I can keep moving!

Oh ok. What did the OB say?  Guess he didn't say anything serious.

I have an appointment in less than an hour, I'm going to bring it up then. I have a bad back and need surgery. To be honest pregnancy has made my back feel better. I've also quit working (factory job) so I'm sure that has something to do with it. This hip pain started in the last few months but has increasingly become worse. We'll see what he says.

You should talk to your Ob. I got groin pain before getting pregnant and my doctor gave me med. It can be an issue. And back pain should be an usual during pregnancy.
