My baby shower will be november 8 since i due on december! And i will have Tamales and Mole wit rice and we will Make Piña colada and Of course diferentes savores de agua! Lol ;)

Am Honduran and for my 1st baby shower we just kept it basic, bbq chicken, rice with veggies, salad, fruit platters, chips to munch on. Alot of people went and they enjoyed the food. My husband's friend took care of the chicken, I made the rest. I felt overwhelmed cooking for so many people. Am currently 3 months and for this baby shower am just gonna get snacks. A couple dips, subs, chips and drinks..
Pero de verdad nose que tengo en mia. Bc his and my family will be cooking and I will have different things. I just want spaghetti and fruit.
Mi esposo es mexicano y quiere Tinga. Pero soy boricua and my whole pregnancy I've craved cucumbers with Limon and hot sauce. Also my tío es de Perú y i love his Peruvian spaghetti. And my mama is native american. So we also having Indian tacos. And lots of fruit maily strawberries and kiwi. Lol and lots of beer. That I can touch. And I'm due March 27. So I'm Havin mine baby shower. In February
Having mine the 8&15th due jan16! Funny cuz it's a surprise for the most part people are bringing dishes but as long as my green nd red enchis are there I don't care lol and I'm having my grandma make them for both yum can't wait!
Had my baby shower last week lol I'm 37 weeks.. and we hired a guy to cook and serve birria , rice , beans , macaroni salad , potato salad , and cochinito en pipi , and also had nachos :) it was really good . And my suegra made horchata and different other aguas :) lol
My baby showers i always have alot of food my husband is cuban & im purrto rican so we have- arroz con pollo, moro, arroz con gandulez, bbq chicken, we make like 4 pernils (pork shoulders)..breaded chicken tenders,yuca, we gets pastelitos de guava, carne, croquetas, we make plantains,potatoe salad, macarroni salad, cucmber salad, regular salad, fruit platters we make cheese and cracker platters and we make mini subs also! ;)
Were just having Puerto Rican rice, ordering chicken & baked mostachiolli (I can't spell that to save my life!._.) & other ppl are open to bring stuff.
Well since im having mine nxt month it will be kinda cold so we are inbetween frijoles charros or posole & some tacos d tinga. & we r getting a big tres leches cake w/ half pineapple & half strawberry in the inside, im also making treats to set up in the the tables like i bought a box of small rice krispies and for those imma get sum of them white sticks and then just dip the rice krispie into sum blue icing since its a boy bbyshower and tie a blu ribbon on the stick and just set them on the table...i also made some little shoes out of small cups and gift wrapping paper and those are my sapatitos dulceros i will be filling them up with candy!
Im 18w & 4d im due in March with a baby girl ♡. My mom and I didnt want to have to deal with cooking and the mess and buying all the food, even though we have help from family & friends, its just to much since we're inviting over 100-150 people from me and my bfs side of the family we're mexicans so we both have big familes so we decided to hire people to cook tacos
My baby shower it's going to be November 29 and my husband is Mexican and I'm Puerto Rican. We both cook way differently so we are going to have arroz junto con gandules, birria, tamales,and ensalada de coditos. Half mexican food and half puerto rican hehe I'm also planning on having a trey of fresh fruits and my husband is probably getting chile y limon for whomever wants chile and limon for their fruit.
That's the same day I'm having mine 11-15 and I'm having my favorite foods crazy but my baby shower so I get Whatever I want Lol can't do nothing but look pretty my baby god mom said she the one hosting and cooking some stuff I'm having egg rolls with Chicken Chinese rice made the way I like it chicken alfredo side down pineapple cake mini sandwiches strawberry cheesecake oreo cheesecake fruit trays veggie trays my sister in law is going to make some suckers 1 sister is going to buy a cake 1 sister is going to buy cupcakes cakes lol I think that's it in a banana pudding
I had a taco bar at a mexican restaurant and they made like a Buffet looking thing with bunch if different tacos and mexican food ! Im Colombian though but looove mexican food :D

I'm Hispanic but I'm doing it simple just ordering sandwich treys from Jason's deli and a few other finger foods actually I don't think there's anything really Hispanic about my party except for my Mexican cousins screaming Spanish stuff lol
