Preeclampsia ..... ahhhhhh

Hello all,

I have three children and with my third child I developed severe preeclampsia and had to have an emergancy c-section at 34weeks. (nothing wrong with my daughter today, she's happy & completely healthy, Thank God) The whole oredeal almost cost the both of us our lives however Jesus was on our side.

I am concerned because I may be pregnant with number four and am worried I will have the same issuses.
Has anyone had a "normal" pregnancy / delivery after preeclampsia?

XoXo

Thanks! I'm glad that you were both ok as well, it's just scary being in that situation all I remember was going in for my weekly appointments and they were like are you ready to meet your son? I was like no lol my husbands at work and I need to go drop my car off. It just happened so fast. I'm currently going to another Dr with this pregnancy because my work cancelled my insurance the day before I got my IUD inserted and didn't tell me about it so I owe $1100 to the Dr's office before they will se me again, which ***** because I really liked him, and it would be a bonus since he knew EVERYTHING that went on throughout my first pregnancy, but this Dr isn't so bad he's just keeping a real close eye on me due to the preeclampsia =0)

I'm glad you are both ok! I just recently moved to a new state and cannot see the doctor who delivered me prior : ( It is the most worrisome thing since you have absolutely ZERO control over it!

I too had preeclampsia with my first son, I ended up being induced 5 days before his due date, and had him vaginally since I was already dilated, after delivery we were both fine =0) I am now 25 weeks and 6 days pregnant with my second son and have not got any signs what so ever of the preeclampsia, but my Dr is keeping a real close eye on me since he said I'm more than 85% likely to develop it again =0( But hopefully it wont happen, with my first I already had tons of symptoms of it, this time around I'm not working so hopefully that will also help me. I will keep you updated with any changes that is going on with me since this is extremely scary =0)
