over my due date :-(

My due date was 11/6 it came and went. Today is the 9th and nothing is happening. I see my Dr. on Tuesday go for another stress test as well. I hope he gives me a induction date

Hey! Im overdue too! Was due on the 4th but wont b induced till the 14th! Its so disheartening that everyone else is havin their babies! Ive tried to get her movin scrubbin the floors, walkin etc but nope shes just too comfy!

I been induced twice and it was no big deal everything went just fine butmy doc won't induce unless you have started to dilate ...basically just a sign that your cervix is making a little progress. Seriously I was happy being induced cause everything was so organized, not rushed, and just genuinely a good experience but.everyone is.different. Hope you meet.little one soon. I'm suppose to be induced Wednesday hopefully :)

Oh and no natural birth for me I can not and will not tolerate pain epidural will be needed

I go back to Dr on Tuesday for another bpp and nst along with speaking to my Dr on the next step hopefully he will give me a induction date. Not trying to go to 42 wks I rather be induced. I had my son at 32 1/2 wks when my water broke my Dr induced me through the IV and I pushed fine. I'm not taking anything at home to induce me or make her come quick. I leave everything in my Dr hands.

I'm surprised you dont have an induction date already I'm due on the 13th but it doesn't look like that will happen.as the above post says leaving them in for to long can be dangerous. Sometimes women's bodies just can't dilate. My sister couldn't

They made my mom go 3 weeks over with my little brother, and he started making bowel movement in the womb because he was "fully baked". He had to be in the NICU for quite a while. They'll probably suggest induction soon.

Obviously i am not a professional but i have had 3 births, two of them i was induced, i will never do other again. Or advise it. Your baby will come when it is ready. Having  a natural/spontaneous Oscar the best feeling. Having it being forced will make it alot more difficult. Good luck!

I don't know ur situation but i would not get induced. u could go up to two weeks on ur due date and still not have a baby. Are u wanting to have a natural birth or epidural? Cuz if ur body is not ready.. then most likely u will be forced to have a C sec. They induced me with my daughter because i was inpatient and i ended up not dialating and had an emergency C sec. They said she would run out of fluidand have a dry birth if i went on without one. A due date is just an estimated guess of when the baby SHOULD be here not WHEN they will be here. all honesty girl i would just be tough and stick it out. walk a lot and drink a lot of water. U can do it! Days will over and gone before u know and then u will wake up one day and ur little one will be on their way to school.

:( i can imagine the worst thing is going over when ur all ready to meet baby. Hope baby comes soon x
