what do I do about this?!?!

I'm very mad! I am 33 weeks 5days with baby #2 and I had a regular check up with my Dr yesterday. He was just recapping his memory and asked if I had a c-section with my last child 5 yrs ago. I said yes. He then asked why I was in the hospital for 5 days? Did I have complications? I said no I did not have complications. He said: APPARENTLY U DID. I
WHAT?!?!
At the time I had a different dr. Are they allowed to keep info like this from a patient??? Cuz I dont care if they accidently forgot a staple. I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT IT! Its my body!!!!
What if I was bleeding internally or bled too much? I'm going to try to have this baby vaginally. I need to know the risks! What should I do?

I'm thinking that's my best option. I'm delivering at the same hospital just different doc. The first Dr didnt impress me. I'm already stressed over wheather I can even have a vaginal delivery (being there is a chance at complications after a previous c-sec) I would like to know them all.

I would call the hospital you delivered at! Just the chance that they didn't tell you something that would scare me

It's called a vbac. Vaginal birth after cesarean. You just have to find a doc that it willing to do it as there can be more complications. I'm a ftm, but mydoc does vbacs.

I thought after having a csection a dr won't let you have a baby vaginally. I know their not supposed to up here in illinois

No cuz I thought that's what he meant too. He said since I have medicaid.. it will only pay for 3 days after a c-section. Anything more than that is luxury unless u have complications. Then they will pay for it. I never got a bill for the extra two days. Also I was begging to leave after 2. Walking around fine and using the bathroom fine. When I asked the nurses if I could go they said they would ask the doc but I never got a response until he released me on the 5th day.

He probably meant thats why you had the c section in the first place. Nothing went wrong with my c section and I was in there for five dayd
