i need an opinion on results on pregnancy test

i know all pregnancy tests say not to read results after 10 min when i was trying to get pregnant with my daughter when the test said neg it stayed neg but now i am 17 days late with my period and all the test i have taken the say neg then after a while they say positive the lines that are appearig are really thin dark line could it be positive or is it something else please help

I agree with alaysha......the evap lines will be a different color and MUCH lighter... if the lines appear later but dark... it might be a positive.... Digital is the way to go.... GOOD LUCK... keep us posted!

it could be positive i was the same i took tests and the came back negative but i waited a while and all came back positive so i decided to get a digital and it came up saaying pregnant so yes you could be pregnant best thing to do is get a digital pregnancy test to find out for sure keep use posted and good luck x

evap lines are colorless and just appear gray... if the control line is pink and then the line you saw is a light pink as well chances are it isn't an evap line but a +.

I agree with Joy, but if you have a digital camera then take a pic and post it and we can look from there

Those are called evaporation lines. A positive line will be as thick as the control line. The lines you're seeing are forming from evaporating urine showing up where the Test line should be if pregnant.
