How heavy is to heavy?

I was riding in the car with my hand out the window, and noticed how much weight I'd put on, on my arms.

It's bothering me pretty badly, I was on a good run of loosing weight, but once I got pregnant, I quit with my routine because I did a lot of sit ups and weighted squats and stuff in my back, which I read wasn't good for the baby.

I've been eating when I'm hungry, but according to the weight part I've gained an excess of 0.7 pounds, I'd like to get back to my arm routine, but the reason I'd stopped it to begun with was I had heard you shouldn't lift if you could keep from it because it puts strain on the baby and can cause the cord to wrap around their neck.

Would 5 pound weights be to much? I used to lift heavier before I was pregnant, but idk

Just wait until after baby honestly I think you're sweating the whole weight gain thing too much girl... everyone gains different amounts and gains it differently and this app is very generic.... like according to the app I've gained an excessive amount but my doc is not worried and says I'm fine and that's what matters. If you're really that stressed bout it talk to your doc.

The whole thing with the cord getting wrapped is just an old wives tail! Nothing more. I've helped my husband carry groceries up 3 flights of stairs and were probably more than 10 lbs!

My doctor says don't lift more than 25 pounds... I would search online for safe work out routines using the weights you mentioned there's also other good workouts that are safe and effective but don't push yourself like if u wernt pregnant and have water near by always
