PS: I am a hispanic named IVY!! Lol
I love all of them (: I'm really into Michaela I guess its because since I'm Hispanic its the spanish way of spelling it! (: (Mi-ka-eh-lah) would be the sounding but off coarse that's in a spanish way sounding. Lol
I think I like Mikaela? I like the name but I think all the spellings confused my eyes... I had a makayla in daycare and she was a doll, but I can't for the life of me remember how she spelled it.....
KeyD has some good advice....i think its hilarious that this post has gotten so many replies...its like the mother of all name posts haha!
Ashelen, quit messing with people...we all know your name isnt ACTUALLY Ivy. :p
when you say the name outloud how do you pronounce the vowels (do you say it Mi Kayla or Ma Kayla) and also where do you split the sylables? ( Mik Kayla or Mi Kayla), those answers might help you figure out the speliing u want. good luck. My DD's name Breanna is spelled with an E not an I because that's how we pronounce it.
Holy 24 replies, Batman!
and hehehe@wannabeamommy yep my name is Ivy and while I'm grateful for a unique name now it was heck growing up...ever heard that song "mares eat oats and does eat oats and little lambs eat IVY"? Yeah I heard that a LOT growing up..at one point my entire 4th grade homeroom sang it to me and traumatized me haha. but everyone on the site is so surprised when they find out my name is NOT Ashelen...even some of my very good friends that I correspond with regularly find it hard not to call me Ashe (sunkissed!). i take it your name is ivy too? i dont think I ever HAVE met any hispanic ivys! the only other one i ever knew was a blonde-haired blue-eyed girl with...uh..loose morals LOL
Mikayla is still my vote!
