period pains????

I'm 20weeks and i had period pains like I'm about to start menstruatin any sec..I'm js wondering is this normal?has anyone else been thru this or going through this?its quite worrying.also for past week iv been getting little popping feeling which i assumed could be the baby's movement but wasn't 100%sure if it was the baby.since these pains i havnt felt those movements!!which is even more worrying!!the period pains have stopped now

Thanks for the response...i js been to hosp as it was really worrying me and they told me its normal and as for no baby movements,they said sometimes at 20weeks baby's do sometimes have quite periods this early on,babys fine.thank god!

I agree with drinking lots of water, try to take it easy with your feet up, could be your uterus growing, I had menstrual like cramping for over 24 hours at 26 weeks and finally decided it wasn't normal and even tho it wasn't coming and going like contractions should it turned out I was beginning to dilate and had to be put on medications that I still have to take every 6 hours and put on full pelvic and bed rest. I am now able to get up with limited action each day. im glad I went in and they were able to stop everything. if you feel like it really isn't right my advise is be checked, better safe than sorry.

make sure to drink plenty of water it could be contractions I had this at 27 weeks and it was contractions

If you are worried then seek medical help as they can put your mind at ease or even assess you if need be. Im sure your fine and it is normal pains, I know I had them

The pains are not really unbearable but just really worrying me

Yeah the popping is movement, I had it and sometimes still do at 31+ weeks. The pains are normal, babys getting bigger and all I can describe it as growing pains. They need more room to move about. But if the pains are really bad call your dr or midwife.
