One of my best friends is 3weeks behind me and I'm grateful to have a friend I can whine to about all the wonderful pregnancy things that happen.. She already has a 7 yr old daughter and I have a 5 yr old daughter, we were there for each other when we had our daughters but it's more fun this time cus we're going through it together.. There are also a few other friends of mine who are expecting, I swear it's in the air.. Also I don't think people usually try n copy someone else as far as nursery themes n names go its just most people are susceptible to whatever is popular at the moment, hence why there are so many of the same names n such amoung people of similar age all throughout the country.

I like having people around me being preggo my bf's brothers wife is preggo with a boy and I'm having a girl both what we wanted so theres no problem there. I also have a bunch of pregnant friends and they don't bother me but I'm ahead of  all of them by a good 2 to 3 months except my bf's brothers wife so maybe that's why it doesn't bother me..

My sister in law is 20 weeks and I'm 24+5 and every time we're around each other we sound like a broken record cuz we always compare our pregnancies. She just found out she's having a girl (which is what i wanted) and I'm having a boy (which is what she wanted). My only problem is that she had her other three kids about a month early so she'll more than likely have this one around the same time i have mine. She's the favorite of my fiancés family and I'm scared her baby will get all the attention and leave my little boy in the dark, just like they did my fiancé for his entire life. Don't get me wrong, its nice to have someone so close to me that is pregnant also and all babies are a blessing but I'm just nervous that my son will get shunned cuz the favorite grandchild is having her 4th baby when this is my fiancé and i's first.

I know how you feel. 1 of my friends just had her baby 5 weeks early another 1s sister just had her baby she about to have her baby then I'm due April 14 then 1 friend is due in May 1 is due in July 1 is due in August and another I believe is due September or October

We live in a really small town and I announced I was going to name my daughter Paisley and no joke two weeks later another girl is running around town and going to name here Paisley to :P oh well I not changing mine. :D

I agree with rockrose my sisters and i were all 3months apart with our pregnancy it was so great. My son is 3months my nephews are 6 n 9months. They are all boys wen they get older they will b able to do everything together n my brothers baby is due April 1st n its a boy so we will have our own squad :) Its wonderful

My sis having a baby is the only reason im pregnant lol. Seeing her little boy made my hormones surge and i got pregnant..
She thinks i got pregnant to be a ***** to her and get the spotlight away from her lol.

I don't understand the annoyance with close friends and family being pregnant at the same time - we called that "being pregnant together". It's  such a gift,  in life,  to have kids the same age who grow up together - and when cousins and good friends get together,  the kids form a life-long bond.

You'll enjoy it in the long run if you can get past the jealousy and "territory" issues.

I am right there with ya girl. My cousin is 7 weeks my best friend is 7weeks. Im almost 9 weeks. But then i have 2 friends thats 6 mnths preg and another cousin thats about 8 mnths pregnant. I feel like EVERYONE is pregnant  . . Smh

I completely understand! Right after I announced I was pregnant at 16 weeks, two of my cousins announced. One of them was already pregnant and was about 10 weeks, but the other waited a while to announce, and when she did, she was like "oh, I JUST got pregnant". The other cousin an I are pretty sure she only got pregnant because we are. It's really annoying, isn't it?

My fiance's cousin is two days behind me and copies everything i do from the nursery theme to facebook posts! And my best friend is also pregnant so i know how ya feel. Lol
