Is age really a factor?

Im 29 and might be pg . having lots of symptoms . I am only 10 dpo . ive had two mc last year and worried this will be another. i have faith and ive put it in Gods hands though. I am afraid  my age is the problem . ive had test done and nothing is wrong the dr said im fine. I know the older you get the more damaged your eggs are . Any others older than me trying and have succeeded ?

thanks , im trying to take one day at a time and put it all in Gods hands . He knows whats best and I trust him..My grandmother had 3 m/c and my aunt had 3 as well. My grandmother had 9 children alive, my aunt had 4 . My husbands side of the family is weird though 3 of the 5 woman had a baby either early or born and then died .. how sad .im glad God took mine early , it would be extremely hard to lose a baby after you have saw it and held it in your arms. although i still miss mine, and am so glad i'll see them again one day in heaven..

Don't stress about the things that has happen, just be thankful for the blessing that you have & I don't think that it's an age thing, like Joy said it is very common for an woman to experience an m/c, younger or older. I'm 26, (will be 27 this mth) I was preggo for the first time, in Jan but I had an m/c & I thought it was me; but talking to my doc & research, let me know that it's normal; that doesn't make it easier, but it gave my closure.

If you have more than one test, go ahead and test tomorrow! That's only a couple days before your expected period. If it is negative, retest after a few days as it can take up to 72 hours for HCG to double.

I don't think your age has to do with miscarriages. I think age has more to do with being able to conceive, not sustain a pregnancy. There are very young women who have multiple miscarriages and older women who don't have any. I just don't think we can crunch everything into a one-size-fits-all mentality. If you're continually miscarrying, it probably has more to do with the quality of egg/sperm or a uterine issue and a fertility specialist could help you with that.

However, I want you to know something. It is not unusual for a normal, reproductive woman to miscarry 1-2 times in her life. When you habitually miscarry, which is classified as miscarrying 3-4 times or more, then there is usually a problem somewhere. Otherwise, it is just one of those unexplainable things and I HOPE HOPE HOPE that you get pregnant (or are right now!) and that the baby STICKS!

It depends on the person. I had my first child at 30. I've been pregnant 4 times since November 2003. I only miscarried one at 10.5 weeks. I'm going to be 34 in April and I'm pregnant again. I have 2 boys right now. I have always gotten pregnant within the first month or two. I've been blessed that I'm so very fertile. So I wouldn't worry if the doctor says you are okay, just relax and have fun.  I haven't been on birth controll pill since I was 29.  I'm not sure if that plays a roll or not.

Good luck and don't stress. Stress does play a roll, more than age.

Well I'm a year younger than you are and also have had 2 miscarriages. I know when you get older it's hard to conceive but I don't think being 28 or 29 is really the issue. I wouldn't worry about it and enjoy making babies! Oh wait your prego now right? Well anyway relax and don't stress out over it! That's not what your body needs. Put your feet up drink lots of water and hang in there. Good Luck! Baby dust!

I'm 26 and haven't been pregnant so don't have a direct experience to share with you. However, I know that if you've been tested that more than likely everything is fine. Lots of the posts here talk about using preseed and other natural therapies to help with pregnancy. I've even read in books about accupuncture helping a woman conceive after IVF..
If you're pregnant there's a great chance you'll sustain this pregnancy as many woman have miscarriages and go on to have healthy babies.
There are some rare situations when women have a blood disorder or some other cause for repeated miscarriages but even THESE WOMEN have ended up having full term babies! (I saw this on the DISCHLTH channel)

Try to relax...LOTS OF BABY DUST TO YOU!!!!
