menstruation after pregnancy

i want to know what is happening for the menstral cycle during pregnancy. does the body produces ovum during pregnancy?why there is no monthly cycle during pregnancy?and is that the bleeding soon after delivery for a round 10-30days is related to menstruation?and what happens for menstruation while breast feeding?and if there's no production of egg during breast feed then why some people concieve during that peroid?please explain these things to me.

you can get your period while brestfeeding. and you can very much get pregnant while breastfeeding

thanks for the information that u gave me...can i ask one more doubt that why there is no menstruation while breastfeeding?you said the body still produces egg during breast feed then what happens to the regular body mechanism of menstruation during that time?

Hi,
During Pregnancy, your body does not produce an egg so there is no menstal cycle during that time.  the bleeding after delivery is called Lochia  That is your Uterus shrinking and shedding whatever is left after delivery,
You can still produce an egg while breastfeeding which is how woman can concieve while they are breastfeeding.  
The return of your normal menstral cycle can be delayed if you are breastfeeding, but it does not stop it all together and you can still get pregnant while you are breastfeeding.

It really depends on your body when your cycle returns to normal.
