Ok curious any mothers input will help
So I had my daughter on Monday she weighed 6lbs 7oz measured 19in will she fit in newborn baby clothes or am I gonna need to get preemie size ?? What u mommy's think? Cuz I only brought a newborn outfit and size 0-3mo outfit I'm afraid she won't fit in either :/
My son was 6 lbs 9 oz and 19 inches long and fit into premie because he was so skinny. My daughter weighed 7lbs 3 oz and was the same length and fit newborn but was too big for premie because she was chunkier . I think it just depends. You could always try the premie and see if he fits but like they said above I wouldn't go out and buy them if you don't have them because they only get used for a short while. Newborn is the best bet.
It is so hard because sizes vary so much. I would say newborn. My little one was 7.6 and she looked tiny in a newborn... for all of one week!
She will be ok and will grow so fast let her keep the 0-3 months outfit unless she is taking
Yeah they might fit a little big but my first weighed 8 lbs 1 oz and he fit into newborn for about a week but I'm sure since your baby weighs a little less she might fit into a couple of preemies still but I wouldn't buy too many cause they will grow out of them in the blink of an eye trust me with my first I had a small belly and everyone thought he'd be under 6 lbs but no he came out big and healthy at 8.1
My baby was 6 pounds 13 oz and she fit into premmie clothes. But also newborn. She is almost 4 months and still can wear newborn onsies. I wouldn't go out and buy preemie clothing I'd she fits into newborn.
Cuz I had my son measuring 6lbs 5oz and he was swimming in his newborn outfit :/
She should fit perfectly In a newborn :) I think preemie outfits are for less than 5 lbs
