First period pp

I'm not really sure where I should post this. But my sob is seven weeks old today and two days ago I started bleeding heavily. I thought it was my period but I'm not having any of the other usual symptoms. No bloating no cramping no more fatigue than what I have since he was born. But I do sometimes have sharp pains where my uterus is. What were your experiences with first pp period? Is this normal?

did you do anything strenous? I know that sometimes overdoing it can cause you to start bleeding again...

I quit my PP heavy bleeding about a week or two after birth but spotted for a few weeks...and I did not get my normal cycle until like 16 weeks or so

Mine was different from what it's normally been and it's been over a year since I've had it. I finally got it like 16 weeks postpartum. I think it's different for everyone and I think it takes a while for your body to get back on track.
Was there a big break between your bleeding after having your son and this bleeding? Because after having my son I bled for 8 or 9 weeks and I went for a really long walk and started bleeding heavily after only spotting for a week or two so I knew I kinda out did myself!
