Question

My 4 yr old daughter told her father that I hate her and I dont love her. I admit I do yell at her and shoo her away A LOT and never want to do anything or be bothered but I love my child with everything in me. And I feel awful afterwards.  How do you explain to a 4 yr old that your just pregnant and hormonal?? I'm going through a lot right now.

Yeah she stays with his mom occasionally. Before I got pregnant I was working overnight and she was in headstart so I was either sleeping for work or at work so I didn't get much time to interract with her. I just have to get used to being around her more again. I know that sounds bad coming from a mother. But I've always had her attached to my hip before I started working overnight two years ago. So now she's getting used to having me around and home all the time.

I think its pretty normal. I have a.3 year old at home and i have zero patience  this pregnancy and feel like im always upset with him. I made a decision the other to do my best to be calm and loving so he doesnt feel any resentment towards baby. I wil also plan a date day where we go for lunch and then i let him decide what to do after. If you have family around or can get her father to watch her for a few hrs once a week it can do wonders to just have some "alone" time and makes u wanna see them after.

I shoo my 1 year old away when i don't feel good and get stress (just need my space)  she obviously doesn't understand but i cuddle with her to mmake her feel better... :/ some times i feel like I'm failing as a mom :(

Thank you ladies so much. Her father and I had a talk with her. Im going to try my best to do more with her and suck up these many emotions I have. I cam tell even her dad dreads to be around me sometimes. It makes me feel terrible.

I have a 2 yr old that has been wanting mommy all the time lately and with the way I have been feeling I shoo him away. I feel bad, so when I dont feel so crappy I take him out to the park cause he likes to go for walks and play at the park

my daughter gets like that too.  when I start to feel she's like that I make a day of me and her and I suck up all my pain.  yesterday we went shopping together alone for the baby and once she got to pick out some outfits and shoes she realized that baby is coming and I need her help even when mommy is crazy.
