Hello I'm new to this app but I'm 11 weeks and soon will have to get an cerclage is there anyone else had to go threw this if so was the surgery painful?
Thanks so much! I had one wit my son but thts been almost 7 yrs ago and I couldn't remember the feeling.
During it you won't really feel anything because the doctor will have you on some pain medicine...so you should be fine...after you will have mild crampinp and bloody discharge...but for the most I would say its way more uncomfortable after then just a whole lot of pain.....your doctor should give you some time of pain medicine to take home...just make sure to stay off your feet a while and try to take it really easy......I'm sure you will be fine just relax through it and don't over stress yourself.....Happy pregnancy and congratulations
Its were u have surgery during ur second trimester and they stitch ur cervic together.
