I am happy that you and baby are well, anything between 110 and 160 is a really good heartbeat.

Im glad everything is ok!  Always remember though, never be worried about bothering your doctor about anything you are concerned about during pregnancy - thats there job and why we pay them an arm and a leg,

well i called my dr and she sent me to labor and delivery where they monitored the baby and did an u/s her heart rate was ok it was mostly in the 130 range and sometimes got into the 118 range which i thought was low but they said that it was because she was sleeping and they put this little buzzer on my stomach to wake her up and then her heart rate would increase it would also get real low everytime i had a bh contraction. but she still wasn't moving much. they did an u/s and said that the fluid level was real high. I go monday to my ob and she is going to do another stress test and contraction test what ever that is and then i have to have stress test done weekly till i deliver i see perinatoligist every two weeks already for u/s to keep an eye on my cervix and to continue measuring the growth of the baby right now she weighs 5 pounds.

I had the same thing happen to me just last week, I didnt feel the baby move at all for hours, and usually I have a football player in there.. So I calmly called the doctor and told them I felt silly for calling, but they assured me that it was fine, and had me come in for a nonstress test, which she says happens anytime you call and say there is a lack of movement.  They had me come in for a 30 min monitoring and a quick u/s to check the fluid and see that everything was fine, that the baby is just getting bigger.  So if you are worried at all, dont feel stupid for calling, you are not the only one calling them.. good luck

all babies are diffferent...towards the end lack of room can cause lack of movement....but so can other things that pose complications such as lack of amniotic fluid or a knot in the cord for example. If it is out of the norm for your baby I would definately insist that your doc check the baby out, measure the fluid, heartrate etc.  Better safe than sorry.

Maybe you should ask to be checked out just to be on the safe side especially if you are worried. I am 33 wks 2 days and i am still feeling my little one alot (and i mean a lot) she never seems to sleep a lately, but as with all pregnancys as you know, they are all very different.

If you notice ANY unusual changes in your babies movement you need to call your doctor.  If your baby was very active the day before and you only felt 3 kicks in one day this would be considered an unusual change - call your doctor!

I think to do the kick counts you are suppose to be relaxing and or laying down b/c you miss them alot during the day b/c even just a tiny flutter is to be counted and if you're up moving around those are hard to feel.
