So my doctor said my baby may possibly have this...if he does what will happen? Will I not be able to take him home from the hospital? Did anyone else have this and baby turned out ok?

Also he said my boy has a very large stomach bubble and did not explain...what would the size of a stomach bubble mean?

Usually growth restriction is caused by problems with the placenta. Normally it just means baby isnt getting the nutrients it needs to gain weight. Doesnt necessarily mean anything is wrong with baby. Depending on how early baby would have to be delivered it could mean baby could develop slower with speech etc. But its generally nothing serious and most babies catch up at some point

Is there possibly something wrong with him? I opted out of all genetic testing so I have nothing to go off of!

IUGR means baby is not thriving in the womb and may have to be delivered early. Growth restricted babies normally have to spend some time in the hospital depending on what they weigh and how far along you are when baby is delivered. (Most hospitals wont release a newborn unless it weighs at least 5 lbs.)
