There's lots of things in stores that aren't good but they sell anyway lol yeah I've always heard not to douche. And to just clean the outside. I told my doctor I bought vagisil to help the odor down there and she looked at me with big eyes and said no no no lol and that she cleans her dogs ears with it lol and to just use soap and water

Check with your doctor.  Douching is not recommended by any that I know.  The issue is that it washes away the natural flora of the vagina that we need to keep it balanced.  They still sell douches but it is not common practice.  I wish they'd get rid of them to help get rid of the confusion surrounding them. But check with your doctor to confirm that this is what they say too.

Here's an article to read from Women's health dot gov.

http://www.womenshealth.gov/publications/our-publications/fact-sheet/douching.html

It firmly says to not douche.  good luck

Agree with specialmom...you dont wana wash away all the good bacteria up there and cause an imbalance creating a hreat environment for infections. Take care

Any time.  The vagina is best left to do it's own thing and you wash outside.  Douching removes everything including the good things in there that help keep you healthy and it upsets the ph.  So, doctors do not recommend cleaning up inside.  :>)  good luck

I personally would say that light spotting is not something to worry about.  Keep your eye on it but I think you're fine hon.

Yeah, try to stay OUT of the vagina.  The vagina is self cleaning and actually cleaning up in there can lead to an increase chance of yeast overgrowth (why douching isn't recommended).  Things are much more vascular during pregnancy and any type of irritation would lead to a bit of blood, that mixes with your discharge and turns it pink.  If it increases, call your doctor but you probably just caused irritation.  good luck

Any bleeding or spotting should be checked out although some women have bleeding and spotting throughout pregnancy and are completely fine but that is not the case with every pregnancy sometimes it shows a problem with your pregnancy and just because it is not a lot does not mean there is no problem that's why it's always better to be safe than sorry and get it checked out let your doctor decide if it is normal or not

Hi there.  Hm, well, many women do spot during pregnancy.  What do you mean washing your vagina?  Did you go up into your vagina or just the outside?
