Uhhh...now I'm REALLY confused!

I've been cleaning for the last 2 hours and finally took a break...went pee and did a CP check (its becoming second nature!) and i had brownish/blood that was sorta thick! Today is CD 22 (or 23?...gotta check). I have NEVER NEVER NEVER started spotting or started AF on CD 22 or 23! WTF??? Now i'm even more confused (see previous posts about HPTS and negative blood test). Is this implantation? (a rhetorical question...i dont' expect a psychic answer!)

I'm so thrown off guard. While cleaning, I had a moment of AF type cramping where I recall thinking "nah..it cant' be" but i was so busy that I didn't pay attention. And now i'm having differnt cramping...not as strong as normal when AF starts but not the same as what  I had a few days ago....
And..........my back has been hurting all day. I didn't put much thought into it today b/c i certainly didn't expect to start AF this early...I even have what i would describe as "flank" pain near my sides of my back where I guess kidneys would be....its mild so i don't know what that means but uh...
yeah...i'm just confused!

Just need to hear from you girls that i'm not crazy and that it probably is just AF b/c of some weird fluke cycle, Even though its never happened in all the years i've been having periods....

ugh!!!

thank you for replying!!!!!! :P
I'm waiting to see a ob/gyn on the 17th and i've already paid for the beta i had on Monday so i'm unfortunately unable to do anything until the 17th, which is a long time to wait. The only thing that would change that is if i got a definite BFP in a few days...which i'm not counting on b/c i had 2 faint faint positves on the 28th and they went away. Originally i thought this spotting would be a m/c and that would explain the "false positives" which were confirmed false with a blood test. But the cramping, while staying pretty consistent today compared to yesterday, is still coming and going. I haven't had any IBprofen or tylenol...its just coming and going on its own...very unsuual for me. Also, my face is broken out with these annoying zits. I usually get cystic acne but not a lot of little pimples and my cheeks are covered with them! I'm just so frustrated b/c there s not way of knowing if this is all b/c of anovulation/estrogen dominance (which shouldn't be an issue b/c of progesterone cream) or if its' pregnancy!

ahhhhh............i' wanna rip my hair out! I HATE HATE HATE not knowing things.....

It really does sound like implantation.  I never experienced it when I found out I was preggers but every woman is different!  If you continue to be concerned maybe call and ask your doc your questions...maybe they can help.  Good luck and baby dust!

ione more thing to add to the post above
i'm also wondering if anovulation can cause major (unsusual) acne breakouts and spotting... perhpas b/c of increased estrogen levels. My understanding is that anovulation can cause similar symptoms to pregnancy. However, supposedly i've experienced anovulation many times (according to docs) and lately i've been on progesterone cream so i would think this would minimize estrogen dominance....

UPDATE:
I'm still really uncertain as to what is going on with my body. Like i said...spotted once yesterday and it stopped. It began again today about 8 am and has continued throughout the day. By 9 am my cramping became like definite AF cramps, but each time i checked...i wasn't having a flow, just slight slight brownish to light red spotting. Not enough to need a tampon or pad (although i have been using tampons since i'm feeling like i'm about to flow any minute.)
I checked back over the past few months ( i document every day how i feel) and noticed that once or twice i had a speck of blood a few days before AF but it was only a speck. This is with cramping AND minor spotting.

Can someone please share with me what they think this may be? I realize its not a definitive answer...i'm just conufsed. I don't know whether to think its an abnormal cycle, implantation (b/c i had possible "O" symptoms about 12 to 13 days ago), or if maybe this is a bigger issue like cysts or something, since i never start any earlier than day 27.

thanks girls!

msgorgeous...
heheh...thanks girl! I have what feels like AF cramping this morning. Its pretty mild and could be confused with BM cramps (like if you really have to go). I'm not gettin too excited yet. After that run of negatives i'm gonna wait a couple days...just for the sheer sake of saving money!! hehehe............

i hope ppl post about their experiences so that i can bide my time until those future days come! I was supposed to start the HCG diet on Friday but now I think i'll have to wait, just in case!!!

So i know this question has been asked a million times but how long should it take after "implantation" (if tahts what this is) to get a positive.

Sometimes your af gets messed up but it also could be implantation bleeding/  Dunno.  If you are still spotting and not heavy AF then test in a couple of days.
