7 weeks and no heart beat

I went for my first ob appt. yesterday and at first they told me everything was fine and that they were
going to show the doctor the photos. then they told me that there was no heart beat. Then I had gone to the hospital
because I was stressing out because nothin indicated a miscarrie. They still couldn't find any thing but they told me that my hm level was normal for pregnancy and that everythign was fine but the hb. I dont know what to do and very worried. What are the chances of every thing being ok

they made another appt. to see if  my hormone level goes up

Are they sure that you are in fact 7 weeks along? Maybe they miscalculated and you're not yet 7 weeks and that would be why you're not seeing a h/b yet? I'm confused as to why they're saying everything looks good, and then they tell you there's no h/b?! Did they say to prepare for a miscarriage, or did they make another appointment or anything? On the other hand, some babies take a little longer and need to "catch up." Maybe if you are 7 weeks, that's the situation. Good luck and I can only imagine how upset you are by this, but try and stay positive that everything will be ok!!
