Period, or just bleeding during pregnancy?

Normally my periods are very thick/heavy the first 3 days, and then lighter spotting for 4 more. Normally i only have cramps the first day, and my bloating completely goes away as soon as my period starts. Ive been having unprotected sex almost everyday for almost 2 months now using no contraception at all, and i had a "period" both months. They both were really light and very watery, and only lasted 4 to 5 days. My 2nd one was even lighter than the 1st and i had very odd symptoms, such as the bloating has not changed, i had very light cramps everyday, and i suddenly was able to smell everything. Like every single person i passed was like they just sprayed the entire bottle in my face. this has never happened before. Am i pregnant, and its just bleeding, or is it an actual period?

You should take a test or see a dr and he/she will take a blood test, blood test is more accurate though but if you are pregnant you should see the dr straight away. It could be nothing if you are pregnant but it would be best to check it out.

I had a period when i was pregnant with my son and did a test when i was 4 weeks but came back - and + at 8 weeks, so maybe you should opt for the blood test as the hcg levels might not show up on a pregnancy test as you've been bleeding.

I have known a few women that have had a period throughout their entire pregnancy and some that had one through the first couple months.  It is possible, but I would take a test and have your dr check you out.  If you are pregnant, you want to make sure the bleeding you are having is safe and normal for you!  Good luck!

The only way to find out if you are pregnant is to take a test.  They are cheap and easy to use.

While some women experience period like bleeding during pregnancy this is very rare.  If you are pregnant and are bleeding it's important that you see a doctor asap.
