Thanks! I figure if tomorrow morning I still feel crappy I'll go to the Medical Bay. They should give me whatever I need. I just got home from a 5 hour drive... I;m totally doing it to myself. Haha.
I totally had the same thing - had a cold in October, November and December - would get sick, recover after 2 weeks and then get sick again!! Like clockwork....so, I feel your pain.
I didn't get sick AT ALL when I was pregnant last time - probably because I could rest a lot more, not having a busy toddler to chase after. Plus, he's bringing things home from daycare, which is unavoidable. I've beefed up on my vitamin C and that seems to be working - knock wood! Now that I'm 40 weeks, the last thing I want is to get sick again before labour.
When I was sick, I consulted with a pharmacist and was given over the counter sinus/cold meds. Once you're over 30 weeks, your options seem to open up. I had the same sinus pain as you do, right in my left jaw, and that cleared it right up.
Hope you feel better soon! :-)
The baby ***** every ounce of immunity we have...lol. I used to get sick all the time throughout my pregnancy. It is the worst but it will be over soon enough. Good luck. I know they say you can take sudafed. Try that and see if that eleviates some pressure. Go to your local pharmacist and ask what else you could take.
