Am I pregnant?? Please help!!

Okay. I stopped taking my BC right before my last set of sugar pills. The first day of my LMP was January 13. I haven't had a period since then. Thought I was preggo, but failed five HPT. So, I went to the doctor for a blood serum test. Results were "barely positive," so they tested me again two days later. Results were negative - no hcg in my blood, at all. As of today, I still haven't had a period and I'm just figuring that I've gotten screwed up by being on bc so long and that it just may take awhile for me to start having a period and ovulating again. Anyway...I decided that I'd like to have a glass of wine tonight (quit drinking in early Jan. when we started trying), so I thought I'd just take one more HPT to be on the safe side...Damned if the thing wasn't positive. What in the world? It had two strong lines and came up in 3 minutes. What in the world is going on with me????

maybe its that your normal cycle is a lt longer then your bc cycle and you just ovualted a lot later then you thought so that's why the tests were screwed up and you really are pregnant!!! Guess you better call you Dr for another blood test. It will be harder to determine your actual due date because you didn't have a natural period after stopping the pill
